SARAH FULLER

ASSISTANT PLANNER
Sarah is a current Urban and Regional Planning student and was employed at Toowoomba Regional Council for over 14 years until joining Precinct Urban Planning in March 2025. From 2011 to 2014, Sarah worked in a range of support roles across Council including in Development Assessment, Development Engineering (Plan Sealing) and Building and Development Compliance. From 2015 onwards, Sarah was part the Technical Advice team, becoming Team Leader in 2016, gaining valuable experience in researching and responding to a range of development enquiries.

In 2019, Sarah commenced the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (Hons) part-time with the University of Southern Queensland and is due to finish in 2026. As part of her studies, Sarah completed a work experience placement with the State Assessment and Referral Agency in 2023, assessing a range of development applications and referrals. From 2024, Sarah’s role at Council also included assessing a range of development applications including residential subdivisions, AirBnB-style accommodation, and change applications. 

Sarah was responsible for implementing several major operational projects within Council including the transition to the Planning Act 2016, BPAY for Development Applications and a Smart Online Pre-lodgment Advice Form. 


Since joining the Precinct team, Sarah has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge working on a range of developments, from smaller residential dwellings and subdivisions through to larger industrial and commercial developments.
