PROJECT OUTLINE

E & E Waste Pty Ltd engaged Precinct Urban Planning to provide town planning assistance associated with a Development Application for a Material Change of Use for Utility Installation, Transport Depot and Caretaker’s Accommodation to establish a Waste Transfer Operation in Hungerford Street, Goondiwindi. The application also involved an Environmental Authority for Environmentally Relevant Activity (ERA) for the waste transfer station operation. The project comprised four stages: formalise existing use of the premises, provision of four igloo storage areas, establishment of four waste transfer station unloading bays and provision of a new workshop/office building and a second washdown bay. The site is used as a waste transfer station for general and recyclable waste including kerbside waste and bottle recycling, as well as liquid waste in containerised tanks.
