PROJECT OUTLINE

Precinct Urban Planning was engaged by the Toowoomba Clubhouse Association Incorporated to assist in obtaining development approval for the establishment of a commercial laundry. The proposed laundry facility is a social enterprise of the Toowoomba Clubhouse and will provide employment and training opportunities for Clubhouse members. The facility included a laundry processing area and ancillary staff amenities. The Toowoomba Clubhouse secured a nine year contract with St Vincent’s Hospital to process approximately 25 tonnes of linen per week within the laundry.
