Precinct Urban Planning was engaged by Cockatoo Coal Limited to provide town planning due diligence investigations associated with the township of Taroom. This required the assessment of the development options and potential. The focus of the investigations was to identify suitable site/s, within Taroom or in its proximity, to accommodate between 200-250 dwellings for workers associated with the mining industry.
