Precinct Urban Planning provided town planning assistance to Deacon Seeds Company for the expansion of an existing warehouse in Knight Street, North Toowoomba. The site is used to receive, process, grade and pack grain products which are then sold to various customer markets. The expansion project was planned over four stages and involved establishing an additional sealed hardstand and sheds, increasing the storage capacity for grain as well as updated technology and infrastructure to improve scale and capacity of operations. This provided a solution for Deacon Seeds Company and helped contribute to their growth of their business and the industry.
