PROJECT OUTLINE

Precinct Urban Planning was engaged by Russell Mineral Equipment (RME) to provide town planning assistance associated with expanding their medium impact industry operations for the manufacture and assembly of mining equipment. RME was required to apply for a Material Change of Use (MCU) to expand their operations and this also involved Precinct coordinating specialist assessments for noise and stormwater management. The project involved 2 stages: Stage 1 – Construction of a new Assembly Building for assembling pre-manufactured and pre- pained metal parts into mining equipment. Stage 2 – Construction of a new Fabrication Building for cutting and welding of raw metal products to be manufactured into metal parts.
