PROJECT OUTLINE

Precinct Urban Planning was engaged by MS Queensland to provide town planning assistance associated with seeking a Development Permit for Material Change of Use for establishment of a Residential Care Facility. The project involved the construction of a three-storey building designed to provide assisted living accommodation for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) tenants. The proposed facility at 218 Hume Street is a relatively new concept in housing design that seeks to provide assisted living to those with multiple sclerosis whilst allowing them the opportunity to maintain a certain level of independence and dignity despite their health condition.
