Quilpie Child Care Centre

Quilpie Shire Council engaged Precinct Urban Planning to secure a Development Permit for a new purpose-built Child Care Centre. This important facility will cater for up to 60 children and employ 7 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff. The development will provide essential support to local families and the Quilpie workforce. It represents a significant step forward in improving access to early education in this rural community.

The proposed Child Care Centre will be of single storey construction and will consist of a purpose-built childcare building, outdoor play areas as well as servicing and vehicle manoeuvring/parking areas. The internal configuration of the Child Care Centre will consist of a reception area, staff offices and amenities, kitchen and 2 main areas, each designed to cater up to 30 children of specific age groups.
