PROJECT OUTLINE

PCYC Queensland engaged Precinct Urban Planning to assist in obtaining the Amended Infrastructure Designation for the new Caboolture Police Citizens Youth Club. A key part of this planning was to seek approval of a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation (MID) under the Planning Act 2016.  In 2023, Precinct prepared and submitted an Environmental Assessment Report (EAR) to the Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDMIP).  In February 2024, the Minister for Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works issued the Amended Ministerial Infrastructure Designation for the new Caboolture PCYC. The proposed PCYC will be located in a consolidated precinct adjacent to the existing Caboolture Police Station and Moreton District Headquarters.
