Precinct Urban Planning was engaged by Morgan Pastoral Company to provide town planning assistance associated with an extension to the Kurrawong Feedlot at Irvingdale. The proposal involved the preparation of a combined development application for Material Change of Use and Environmentally Relevant Activity to increase the capacity of the existing feedlot by 9,000 standard cattle units. The proposal involved the establishment of 19 additional pens and associated site facilities. Odour modelling was required to be undertaken to demonstrate that the proposal would not generate adverse impacts on surrounding land uses.
