Intensive Livestock Agriculture - Chicken Farm

Santrev engaged Precinct Urban Planning to provide town planning assistance associated with the modification of a Development Consent from Richmond Valley Council for Intensive Livestock Agriculture for a breeder chicken farm.

The project involved acquiring approval for amended plans for the removal of 6 spiking sheds, extending other existing sheds resulting in a reduction of overall floor area. There will be no change in the overall bird numbers. 

The basis for the modification primarily relates to improving the overall functionality and efficiency of the complex. The removal of the spiking sheds will result in a reduced building footprint, whilst the integration of the roosters and hens will assist with improving the overall amenity of the development.
