PROJECT OUTLINE
Mort & Co Lot Feeders Pty Ltd engaged Precinct Urban Planning to provide town planning assistance associated with the expansion of an existing gravel pit at the site located on Millmerran-Cecil Plains Road. The project involved a Material Change of Use to allow the extraction and screening of gravel within the threshold of 100,000 – 1,000,000 tonnes of gravel per annum at the site. The majority of the gravel extracted is to be used for construction and maintenance purposes for the expansion of the Mort & Co Pinegrove Feedlot located approximately 10km south of the gravel pit. As part of the Development Approval process, an application was also made for separate approval for an Environmentally Relevant Activity for Extractive and Screening Activities.
