Precinct Urban Planning was engaged by Watpac Civil and Mining Pty Ltd to provide town planning assistance associated with the establishment of a quarry on land located at ‘Etona Station’, Morven. The project involved development approval for two borrow-pits for extraction of up to 300,000 tonnes each of road base material and a central processing area for the crushing and screening of up to 1,000,000 tonnes of material. The quarry development is temporary in nature and will provide material for the Landsborough Highway upgrade.
