PROJECT OUTLINE

Bryda Holdings Pty Ltd engaged Precinct Urban Planning for town planning services to prepare and lodge a development application for a Material Change of Use for a Micro-brewery, Restaurant and Shop on the New England Highway, Cabarlah. This is an adaptive re-use of the former Black Forest Cuckoo Clock Centre designed to provide an integrated tourist and hospitality facility called the “Clock and Bull” – Brewhouse and Chowhouse. Approval from Toowoomba Regional Council was given in 2023, at which time Precinct was engaged again for a minor amendment. The project is a great initiative and will enhance the tourism and restaurant services in the region.
