PROJECT OUTLINE

Garvie Builders Pty Ltd engaged Precinct Urban Planning to provide town planning assistance for a Development Application for a Showroom for retailer Boating Camping Fishing (BCF). The proposal involves the demolition of the existing commercial premises and the redevelopment of the site for a purpose-built “Showroom” complex including associated access, car parking and service areas. The proposed Showroom will be located adjacent to the site’s primary Arthur Street frontage and built to the southern side boundary to permit one-way vehicular access to the site from Arthur Street. Car parking, and service (loading areas) are situated to the rear and are accessible via a two-way access driveway from the Hawthorne Street frontage. Pedestrian access will be via an entry foyer situated centrally on the northern side façade accessed by covered pedestrian walkways.
