Precinct Urban Planning was engaged to provide town planning assistance to convert an existing heritage residential dwelling located on James Street in South Toowoomba into short term rental accommodation for tourists and visitors.


The project involved the existing dwelling house being converted to a self-contained, short term accommodation facility that can cater for up to a maximum of eight guests. The heritage dwelling has been identified as a Local Character Place, since it is visually appealing and reflects the historical character and significance of the Toowoomba Region.
