Precinct Urban Planning was engaged by George Weston Foods to provide town planning assistance associated with the Preliminary Approval – Variation Request for the Willows Crossing Mixed Use Development in Mort Street Harlaxton, Toowoomba. The project involved seeking approval to vary the land use intent, development standards and design provisions consistent with the project’s overarching urban design concept through the adoption of a site-specific Variation Scheme Document (VSD). The VSD provides a coordinated planning framework applicable to the future use and development of the land for a mix of services including: industrial, commercial, medical, professional office and retail uses consistent with the project master plan.
