Kim Reeve
Associate
- Bachelor of Regional & Town Planning (BRTP)
Kim is a qualified Town Planner with over 16 years' experience in the public and private sectors. Kim was employed as a Student Planner for the Western Downs Regional Council in 2007 whilst studying for a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning at The University of Queensland's St Lucia Campus . Upon graduation in 2009, Kim took on a full time position in Western Downs Regional Council’s Development Assessment Unit where she later took on the role of Development Assessment Coordinator. Kim joined Precinct Urban Planning in 2012 where she has gained extensive experience in the private sector.
During her time with Western Downs Regional Council, Kim gained experience in a wide range of complex development applications and was responsible for the assessment of major projects within the region including: solar farms and gas-fired power stations, heavy and extractive industries, commercial and rural activities, and large scale residential developments. Kim was also responsible for overseeing Council’s Development Assessment Unit and provided assistance in the preparation of the Western Downs Regional Planning Scheme. During her time at Council, Kim also gained valuable experience in liaising with State Agencies and preparing and presenting reports to Council.
Since joining Precinct in 2012, Kim has assumed responsibility for a wide range of key clients and has gained extensive experience in the preparation of development applications for the private sector. Kim has extensive experience in the facilitation of major residential, commercial, industrial and rural development projects including: residential unit complexes, residential subdivisions, mixed-use commercial, retail showrooms, intensive animal industries, extractive industries and industrial complexes.
