Prior to moving to Toowoomba, Andrew was an Associate Director with national planning, economics and property consultancy Urbis where he represented a range of national planning and development clients.  Before joining Urbis, Andrew was the Manager of Strategic Planning at Townsville City Council between 1998 and 2001, where he was the project manager and officer principally responsible for the preparation of the City's first IPA Planning Scheme, and was a key contributor to the Townsville CBD revitalisation and the redevelopment of Townsville's iconic "Strand" beachfont boulevard.
